"Uptown Funk" is a song originally performed by Mark Ronson, featuring Bruno Mars, that is covered by The Chipmunks in the fourth CGI/live-action film, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, as well as the film's end credits. An extended version is also included in the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. A short, promotional version, with the title and lyrics changed to "Uptown Munk," was also released and teased at the end of the film trailers.
