Matthew Gray Gubler (born March 9, 1980) is an American actor best known for his role as Spencer Reid on the television series Criminal Minds.

Gubler provides the speaking voice for Simon in the CGI/live-action films Alvin and the Chipmunks, The Squeakquel, and Chipwrecked. He had wanted to voice Simone but Alan Tudyk had a better French accent.
