The Cat Sitter is an episode of the ALVINNN!!! and The Chipmunks series.
Synopsis[]
Theodore is stuck taking care of Miss Croner's cats during a week that Dave wants the boys to focus only on school.[1]
Plot[]
Dave barges into The Chipmunks' room, confronting Alvin, who's on the phone, and Simon, who's been falling to sleep in class due to volunteering after school. Dave instructs Alvin and Simon to do nothing that will compromise their grades or health for their upcoming midterm exams. Downstairs, the doorbell rings and Dave's surprised with a nomination for a Good Samaritan award. Meanwhile, Theodore waters some plants outside when Miss Croner instructs him to watch over her house, cats, and roses. The youngest chipmunk rushes to tell his siblings only to be forced to make up a story when Dave approaches. Seeing as Theo was already given the task, he sneaks out the window in order to avoid Dave seeing him leave and takes care of the chore list the elder neighbor left for him. At dinner Theodore explains the scratches from one of Miss Croner's cat were from falling on the sidewalk and rolling into a rose bush. After another night of watching the house and taking care of cats, Theodore is more scratched up and his brothers offer to help. They set traps in and around her house as Dave fills out paperwork for his award. He notices a light shining on his neighbor's porch and goes to investigate but finds himself trapped in one of Simon's traps. Before heading to school, Simon calls the police once he sees someone in his trap, and when Officer Dangus investigates, he too becomes a victim to one. The two agree to keep the incident to themselves and Dave uses Theo's excuse to explain his cuts. Miss Warren arrives and Theodore attempts to cover up helping Miss Croner while Alvin exaggerates Dave's comments, causing Miss Warren to quickly leave.

- Miss Croner's cat Shirley makes her first reappearance since the season one episode Good Luck Mr. Whiskers, although from this episode onward she is a Siamese cat instead of a brown Tabby cat.
