The Importance of Images
Hey guys! I wanted to go into detail about the importance of images, mostly the importance of naming and licensing images as stated within the wiki's image policy. I know most people's first reaction would be "Ugh, more pointless work." or "Why does it matter? Most people won't see it anyway." but I hope by the end of this blog the reasoning will help you understand just how important these practices are for the reader and the wiki.

Three Year Anniversary
A full three years to this day I just so happened to find my way here, to this little site we know well now as Munkapedia. I don't remember how I found my way here, but I did. Though I'm not going to repeat myself about why I came to this wiki, I would like to expand a little (some people like history) and also talk about the last two years (I didn't make a blog last year because I forgot, oops).
When I first joined, the wiki had approximately 550 pages, of which about 50 would be deleted as lingering fan fiction or notorious "title only pages." During my first year, the wiki seen its most activity in terms of editing. Out of the first year, that activity evolved and changed.

Hey! I'm CabbieFreak84. I'm mostly known from the Andrew & Heidi wiki and Sam & Cat wiki. I came here more than a month ago because I really love Alvin and the Chipmunks and decided to join. I started to like them in 2009 when my cousins made me see the Squeakquel. I really liked it and I watched the first movie before Chipwrecked came out. When it came out, I immediately saw it and it was good. Ever since then, I've kind of lost interest in the chipmunks until late July when the new show was about to come out. This discussion is in response to Layout Changes: Breakpoints and Typography. As a quick overview, this Wikia-wide update seeks to transition away from many different layouts of articles that changed based on the screen size you use (the previous fluid page design) to a few more similiar layouts that change based on breakpoints of screen sizes (or, simply size classes). The typography change included primarily an increase in font size given a larger screen size.

It sure has been a long time since I was last on here. It took me 10 minutes just to find the blog button since I have not been on wikia in forever. I was an admin and crat a while back but due to life in general I had less and less free time until I had practically no free time at all to get on.
