Plot
While The Chipmunks are building a tree-house, Alvin decides it's in the groups best interest to spend their life savings to buy a horse. Alvin pays half of the money for the horse and must get the rest from the horse race in order to save the horse from the glue factory. The boys attempt to train him and hide him from Dave, which luck only at the latter. The horse gets hold of Simon's sleeping potion so Simon and Theodore are dressed as a horse in order to make the weigh in. They win the race when the horse is motivated to catch Theodore who fell from the stands. A kind lady takes in the horse off the boys' hands for her pony farm.
