A Chipmunk Christmas is the official soundtrack for the special. A number of the tracks in the soundtrack contain narration from special guest star Santa Claus.

Trivia

  • "Wonderful Day" is heard in the special but not within the soundtrack album, however, the song's later included on the CD the comes with the 2012 re-release of the Christmas With The Chipmunks DVD.
  • "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," "Crashcup's Christmas," and "Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane)" are included within the album but are not heard in the special.

The album was certified Gold by the CRIA on October 1, 1982.[1]
